Full-Stack Developer

Job description

Does building new products excite you, even after years of experience, and are you looking for a job that’s about more than just typing code? Do you like working on your own, while also having a team of colleagues who always have your back? And is sharing your knowledge with the team something that comes natural to you?

Then keep on reading! Who knows, maybe you’re our new Full-Stack Developer.

About us:

Touchtribe is a cloud native development agency, specialised in developing cloud native digital e-commerce platforms and business portals. We focus on developing serverless applications and integrations. In doing so, we use services from the AWS ecosystem as much as possible.

We are also part of MakerStreet; an Amsterdam-based collective of agencies working together towards digital perfection. We believe in specialisation and that people should excel in their individual fields, so that's why we're not a full-service agency but a full-specialty agency. Together we develop websites, apps, content and other digital solutions for major brands and organisations such as Spar, Fugro, Holland Casino and Rabobank, to name a few.

Who are we looking for?

A Full Stack developer, who knows modern JavaScript frameworks like the back of their hand. You have a creative eye and are able to translate ideas and mock-ups to interactive prototypes. Next to that, you are always up for the challenge of building custom solutions.

As a full stack developer in Touchtribe, your role is pretty awesome! You'll be juggling both front-end and back-end development, making things happen from every angle. You should be a pro with modern JavaScript frameworks like React and Node.js, bringing those sweet, interactive user interfaces to life. And when it comes to cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, Vercel or Azure, you'll be right in your element, deploying and managing applications like a boss. If you've got experience in eCommerce, that's a big plus! It means you know how to build secure and efficient online shopping experiences. So, get ready to bring your versatile skills to the table and be a key player in creating awesome digital solutions for the agency!

What you will do:

You will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects within a reputable company, alongside experienced professionals. Instead of simply working for clients, we collaborate closely with them as a unified team, ensuring the best possible outcomes.

Your responsibilities will involve working on a range of exciting projects, such as headless commerce implementations, interactive client portals, and visually appealing branding sites. We primarily utilise React, AWS CDK and Node.js, to build a composable architecture that includes specialised solutions like StoryBlok, ContentStack, BigCommerce, Algolia, Akeneo and Adyen.

In addition to your project work, you will also play a vital role in coaching and mentoring junior and mid-level colleagues, fostering a collaborative environment that maximises our collective potential. Furthermore, your expertise will be invaluable in assisting the sales team by providing technical estimates, enabling us to deliver accurate and well-informed proposals to our clients.
